We're looking to do s scrapbook for grandchildren with pictures of family, pets, food etc a sort of flash card with pictures.  Any ideas what the nearest font to the Janet & John style [as used in pre-school] would be?

The font used in nursery /infant school is Sassoon Primary Type infant or medium. But if you don't have it (like me) I use arial for this sort of thing.

Comic Sans is often used. You want a sans serif font as it looks more simple.

have you looked at tahoma? thatts a nice clear plaijn one

Try comic sans but also look at century gothic - both give the round a - but depending on the age of the children then the bradley handwriting style can be good
