clomid advice please

hi everyone has anyone took clomid to concieve??.... im classed as unexplained and have been given clomid but only 3 month worth... im on 2nd round and i think ive taken my tablet on wrong day... i was told to take it days 2-6 but i have started on day 1 instead... is this a concern and have i screwd up.... also what were you lke on clomid how many cycles till you got pg.. thanks

Hi I took clomid to conceive 1st child - I don't think you should worry about being a day out with the tablet it won't cause any problems just may not be as effective I guess. I'd been trying to get pregnant for two years before I started it, had one period when I started taking it and that was it! Good luck, hope it goes the same for you x

I conceived on my 4th cycle - although not unexplained fertility problems. I wouldn't worry too much about taking it on the wrong day - sometimes people are a bit confused as to what counts as day one anyway (with spotting, starting and then stopping etcetc) although you should count day one as your first day of full flow.

I was lucky - didn't get too many side effects but some people it does. I would advise you to take it just before you go to bed so most of the side effects if you get any will hit whilst you are sleeping (hot flushes aarrgghhh)
