Bleeding in late pregnancy

I was 34 weeks pregnant last weekend and had a small bleed sat am.
We went to hospital and was in for 3 days having baby monitored. Baby absolutely fine, lots of strong movements and heartbeat all good too.
Had another bleed late sat night and nothing since. Have had a scan and placenta is fine and I feel fine too, had no pain with any of he bleeding either.
Im now home resting but feels bit like a waiting game if anything more will happen and just want to get to our due date without any more problems.
Drs have said if they had to delivery early they could and have been given steroid injections just in case.
Just wondered if anyone else had had any bleeds this far into pregnancy and what it turned out to be?
Reading up on it, the only info I really found was placenta abruption, but that has greater blood loss and pain which I didn't have, or placenta previa which again I don't have either.

Thanks Ummmm and Soapnumpty....reassuring to hear your own stories.
Pleased to say its been a week now since last hospital visit so hoping the next visit will be for the birth!
Had another scan Monday and met with consultant and he was happy with babys size etc so think its a case of waiting now. 37 weeks on Sunday so another milestone if i can hold on few more days!

Back in hospital again for 4th time, 5th bleed. Baby again ok,as I am, Dr now suggesting that they look to induce me at 38 weeks (37 wks tomorrow) unless something else happens in the meantime!

Good luck, I have been looking out for your posts (thing 1 and thing 2 born at 37 weeks - 5lb 5 and 6lb 14 respectively and no problems with either). xxx

Jeez Sher...that's a massive weight for twins. My middle son was 6lb 12oz solo.

I bet you did. Walking round with those two inside you must have burnt up a rake of calories.

Thanks all for your support and kind words :-) Had a good day today and baby has been very active again. I should be going home tomorrow. The plan is for me to have another check up tuesday and then they want to book me for an induction a week monday so will be 38+1 then. We are in agreement as not sure i could wait around for another 3-5 weeks waiting for further bleeds.
So thats the current plan, will of course keep you posted xx

Well got out hospital sunday...didnt last long as ended up back in hospital this morning with 6th bleed. Drs decided it was best to bring forward the induction so have started things off today! So just waiting now and being monitored but hopefully maybe we'll have a baby for the weekend :-)

Thankyou all for your best wishes xx nothing to report yet but hopefully soon!
Still getting my head round the fact we still had a few weeks to go, then only a few days ago told we had just a week to go, and now just a day or so!!
Dont think im going to do that well with the pain thing....they messed up getting cannula in so needed anaesthetic to get that put back in and already on gas and air earlier and things not really started yet!!
