Baby Bumps...
I'm around 12 weeks preganant now, still awaiting my first scan....
I was looking on another forum where ladies posted pictures of their bumps during the first trimester...and they look so big in comparison to me...
I barely have anything showing...only the slightest bump which only me and my boyfriend can probably notice.
This normal? I know everyone's different, just need the reassurance! :O)

I am sure that everyone is different - and it also depends on how slim (or otherwise!) you are to begin with I suppose. I have come to realise that EVERY single pregnancy and every single woman is different. I am sure there is nothing to worry about. The baby is very small still (although it will look just like a mini baby when you get your scan!)
I am 10 weeks pregnant and get scanned every week (previous history). My baby still looks like a blob, so I can't wait for the 12 week scan!
Good luck!

I went with my daughter for her scan last week. She is 24weeks gone. It is only in the last couple of weeks that she has got a bump. You could see she had put on a bit of weight but she said it was all the take a ways. The other women there was quite large in comparison. Everyone is different and I am sure in the next few weeks it will be more noticeable. On the plus side, you may be spared stretch marks. I got to see the baby on the scan and it was brilliant. Good Luck with your pregnancy.
nat_84. This is my daughter's 5th baby and I wasn't exactly congratulating her when she told me. Her partner was unable to go to the scan so I went with her to keep an eye on her other little one. I felt differently when I saw its face very clearly on the screen and its arms waving about. Bearing in mind this was her first scan and a bit further on in the pregnancy so the images were very clear. Show your mum your scan picture and it will seem more real. Best of Luck.
Hey nat :o)
With my first pregnancy I was still wearing my normal work clothes up until about 20 weeks. From then on I expanded outwards until I could have put a tea tray on my bump and walked around! stretchmarks appeared at about 30 weeks and as 'Little' Pippa was 2 weeks late I found it hard to waddle...!
With subsequent pregnancies I showed much earlier. During my second I was in maternity trousers at 13 weeks.
Yes ~ you are very normal, hun. Good luck with the scan ~ how exciting!!

Hiya nat Hapy New Year!!!
I didn't really start to show with Mini Boo till I was about 5 and a half months, then sadly I became the size of a house....lol
I wouldn't worry, as you've already gathered and been told, all pregnancies are different. Before you know it you'll be huffing and puffing up and down asking your partner to fasten your shoes because you can't reach 'em!
