In theory you should be at your most fertile around 14 days before your period is due, this is when you're likely to ovulate. It is of course possible for you to get pregnant at anytime throughout the month, but this time (a 2 - 3 day window) is when your chances are highest.

ratbag is right. I was told that you are most likely to get pregnant 14 days before your period as that is when your egg is released.
dont stress about it, just have fun and when it happens it happens. We decided in jan that we would like a baby and we would see how things went... when it happened it happened. I actually got pregnant straight away!!

The harder you try the longer it may take. Difficult but try not to get hung up on it as it can take longer. Try to chill as you can get pregnant at any time of the month so increase your chances and get at it lots. Dont just go for the likely days and dont start taking temps you will get obsessed. Tell yourself it will take a year at least and relax then hopefully a surprise in round the corner. I came off the pill and thought I wouldnt get pregnant straight away cus I was getting married in 4 months oops!!! 12 weeks gone on wedding day. A lot of it reeally is in the mind.
As kitty says try and relax and enjoy sve the science for later. Do take folic acid though as it is recommended whilst trying and into first 12 weeks of preg to help prevent somedefects. Good luck.

gud luck on trying to have a baby.. hope it works out the way that u want it too... just listen to the otha gurls.. i would say wait 14 days before your period day...
