my friend at work has just found out shes pregnant, she has been with the company just over 2 months. can she still claim maternity pay or not?

Morning. Just to let you know; I've received a reply back from the Inland Revenue regarding my Maternity Allowance benefit and I am able to claim �112.75 per week. Its certainly enough for our weekly shop + nappies. If she can't claim SMP from her employer then don't lose hope, its unlikely that she'll be left with nothing. Good luck
