do Braxton Hicks...........
make your head feel like its gonna pop??
I keep getting this feeling whereby my head and ears and sinusses hurt, its like theres pressure in there. At the same time my bump goes rock hard.
It lasts anything up to a 3 minutes and makes me feel hot too.
I didnt get BH last time, just contractions so not sure if this is right or not.

But I have nowhere to put one and it can be pain cos it has to be kept at body temperature at all times so I think I will stick with just having a bath if I want one. Im hoping I can cope with gas and air and a tens machine but been told even Im 5-6 cms dialted, if I decide I want something else they will take me into hospital. My daughter has said she wants me to go into hospital though so if baby comes in the night, I wont wake her up! lol
Last labour was all a blur lol I can remember swearing.....a small bit.....but dont think I screamed thought lol I was going to have a bath last time but then didnt as the bath and toilet was all in one and there was about 4 or 5 of us sharing it! Another good thing about having this one at home, its all mine! lol I dont think I could sit in there too long though because my bum goes numb after 10 minutes as it is lol
my bum goes numb but lying in a bath helps.
the loo and shower were all in same room as bath but i think the only other woman on labour suite was in full screaming flow in room next to mine so hardly likely to want the loo.
I sat up until a contraction came and then laid back, holding onto the handles for support and sort of stretching my back to ease the pain. It seemed to do the trick.
