She had previously had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and then been told she might never have children. She was devastated to be told that at her age (20), but then managed to concieve naturally and is doing ok with the pregnancy apart from the placenta being low lying(which has nothing to do with PCOS).Women can go on to have children when they have PCOS so don't give up hope.Good luck.x
I have no experience of Clomid so can't advise on that.

Hi sparker.
I think we've shared a thread before, just before we were going for scans.
I have also been given 50mg of Clomid, but the scan looked like I didnt have pcos (to my suprise to be honest)
My ovaries are apparently just being very lazy due to me taking the pill for so long. The doc said its not uncommon for it to take 3 years for regular periods to resume!! Who knew!?
I 've only taken the 1st lot so far, then had to have a blood test on day 21. cont.....

I just had my result on thus that said I AM ovulating now! Halleluja!
So now I just wait to see if I have a period next week (fingers crossed I dont) But doc said I can do 6 cycles of it.
But I can deffinately say it works. Only thing is, I had really bad cramps for a few days around day 10 and for the last 3 days or so I can harldy bare to put my bra on, I'm soooo tender. But, I am definately NOT complaining.
I really hope things work out for you. Its so hard to see everyone else catch on so quickly. It seems theres new babies everwhere just now in my life at the moment.
I hope we will both be next

Hi lollyone, yes i remember you, sounds like we going through the same at roughly the same time then.I have to take clomid for 5 days and then stop, go for blood test on day 2 and then again on day 21, start taking clomid on day 2 again. I have it for 3 months, then have to go back to the hospital in 4mths if nothing has heppened by then, fingers crossed for us both.going by the other storys, we will get there in the end.

I have finished taking my first lot of clomid, been off it now only for 3 days, I have been having aches in back etc so I think I am due a period, but I dont think its through the clomid as its to soon surely? My moods seem to be ok as I have been warned can make you a bit moody my partner hasnt told me otherwise yet anyway hahaha. Hope you are well, we can help each other along this :-)

Hi sparker!
I cant believe it! The clomid definately works! I'm pregnant!! I'd honestly started to think I'd never see those little blue lines. Keep the faith!
The clomid gave me really bad cramps, like awful period pain even up to a few days ago. And my boobs feel like they've got bricks in them and have done for the last few weeks. Dont think my moods where bad though, not that I noticed anyway. Hub might disagree!
But i really felt like I was going to come on last weekend so you never know. I hope this gives you some confidence in it though. Fingers (and toes) crossed that it does the trick for you too.
