It depends on if mum and baby are OK really, doesn't it, and if the paediatrician makes his or her check on baby later in the day. They came round at 4.30 p.m. with my first, and then i was out of there like a shot!

thanks everyone i had he rin hospital- i went in at 7 yday morning n she was here by half one- i prob could have had her quicker but my waters wouldn't break n they wanted me to break them naturally which i did then she was born 5 minutes later!!

she had meconium wen my waters broke so i was a bit worried but she was absolutely fne- i just have mad period pain now!! ( to be expected i suppose!) I got out of hospital at 7:30 last night

I been lucky really as i put her to bed at midnight after her dads side of the family left and she didnt wake until 7 so i got a decent sleep!

Ice maiden we originally chose Skye Oregan but had a last minute change of heart and called her Oregan Skye Rose Motley.

Yes i am very proud of her- but def no more for me! second babies are supposed to be quicker but she was almost 2 hrs longer than my first xx

Love the name Oregan, very unusual. Amelia and I think Rose was a wonderfuly choice too :)
