This is a sad admission....
I wanted dippy eggs so badly when I was pregnant that I wrote to Lyon eggs LOL! They were very nice and sent me some lovely recipe cards but told me that I shouldn't eat eggs unless the yolk is thoroughly cooked, i.e. hard, even if the eggs are salmonella free (which Lyon eggs are as the chickens are vaccinated against it).
Despite the advice though I gave in and had baldy eggs with toasty soliders, and they were soooooo good. And I didn't die, and my baby was fine!
Obviously I would advise that you follow your midwife's advice, but personally I think a little of what you fancy does you good ;-)

Weather is making it worse. Its to muggy to walk about in and i sit with the fan on when i'm in the house. I've really got 10 weeks to go but they are taking me early due to the liver problem. My levels had sorted themselves out but went last thursday and they have started to go up again. A normal level is below 50 and mine peaked at 1275 so not very good. I don't think i have ever felt so tired. Don't think i've spoken to m hubbie in days. Not that we have fallen out (for a change) i just don't have the energy to even talk and when he does ask how i am all i can say is 'I'm tired'. Never thought it would be like this.
Awww hun, it'll get better! 30weeks is good going though, bubs must be doing really well. I can't imagine what it must be like for you because a) I didn't have a liver problem and b) I didn't have the hot weather, but that tiredness does lift. I was so knackered I was frightened I wouldn't have the energy to give birth but it's pretty incredible that you do manage. I was so miserable in the last few weeks, I barely saw or spoke to my hubby either; I'd be in bed from 7/8pm and then he was at work all day, you do look back and wonder how you got through it all, but you do get through it.
Did you manage to find out if it's a boy or girl? If so have you thought about names yet?

Awww, that's a lovely name. You sound like you're doing the best thing and taking the advice of the professionals. I didn't really want to have a c-section, but was wheeled down to theatre to have on as labour was so long and baby got stuck, but then she popped out at the very last minute - after I had been pushing for 10hours to no avail, so you never know what will happen! I can't wait to hear back from you to know everything has been fine and how much she weighs, it's so exciting!
