I'm sorry as well x
Think we should have a pregnancy section!!
I Love Snow are you engaged to a Lyreco (stationary) man?

(As for the eggs, i ate runny eggs, had a healthy 7bs 7oz baby girl) BUT i'm not a midwife so dont take my useless advice! x
you know the risks of salmonella and the fact that if you do catch it it will pass to baby.

But they are only guidelines, ifs up to you if you follow them

i certainly wouldnt tell you to eat them. But, like nat, i ate runny eggs when pregnant and i didnt get salmonella.

but i wouldnt eat them unless the hens had been immunised for salmonella

Hahaha nice 1 everyone!! i will try an egg and let you all know . . . . . . . . . .
oh and ive had prawns! then my midwife told me i cant have them and i made carbonara just before i found out i was pregnant...... so i think it will be ok xxcx
Hi nat. No i'm married to a lovely postman.
oooohhhhhhhhhh....lemon curd...bigmamma, now thats all I want. Must... have...it!
All I want generally is a nice juicy medium cooked steak. I miss that. Keep ordering 'well done' like a good girl when we go out, but I never enjoy it. I reckon you should just have a dippy egg as a little naughty treat. Just dont have it all the time. You could drive yourself round the twist if you didnt have ALL the stuff they advise against!

prawns and seafood is ok as long as cooked thoroughly. So prawns cooked in a hot sauce would be fine.

Ok oh, just a wild shot really as my extremely chatty lyreco man was talking to me the afternoon i read this thread and his fiance was expecting and they had chosen the name Erin too. lol. But i thought YOU NEVER KNOW! lol x
Hi. im sure you have had enough answers but here goes anyways...
My son is nearly 1 - Time flys!
My craving was dippy eggs bigggggg syle!!!!!!!!
I ended up giving in beause it was making me miserable. I was fine, my baby was fine and my craving was satisfied. My mom had 3 children and she ate pate, nuts, eggs etc and we were all perfectly normal. I think some pregnancy advice has gone OTT.
Take care x x
you can have a dippy egg i ate all the way through my preg as it was my craving, and as for nuts if you have no family history of an allergy you can have em, my midwife told me and i went out and bought a big bag of peanut mnms yummy
