Does anyone know of any web sites for Mum's to be in local areas?

netmums may have forums.

Try the ivillage one i gave on your other post and also ivillage have a meet a mum page to find mums and mums to be in your area.

You can select to join specific groups, including those with members from your regional area.

I love it, as all the ladies are very friendly and offer helpful, useful advice. Plus there's info on everything from morning sickness to SMP written by experts.
