stomach pains???
hello.
im 38 weeks plus 3 days pregnant and for the last 2 days have been gettin sharp pains in my stomach, its the sort of feeling that i need a poo sorry for being so gross lol. it is not an unbearable pain but just takes my breath away.it can be painful but i can handle it im confused at what it is as i def dont need a poo lol

It could be a few things, from braxton hicks, to the start of labour to baby engaging fully.
They wont mind a call.
btw contractions are felt in the stomach and the feeling can be like that of wanting a poo.
does your bump go hard when it happens? a contraction will often go in a wave down your bump

Sounds like you're going to get a nice early Christmas present! Don't count on being able to eat Christmas dinner!
Seriously though this really could be the start of labour. How exciting! Don't worry about only being 38 weeks you are almost full term and I'm sure the baby will be fine.
Definitely let your midwife examine you tomorrow, if you make it to the appointment, she will tell you whats going on.
