red - he he i like it
Oh, puma, you may find he will want a rest,
Mr CRX climbed onto my bed, whilst i sat in chait with baby (2 hours after birth) and started moaning that his back hurt and he needed to rest it.

you may be able to imagine my response lol.

albaqwerty, my mum was like that with babies, no-one ever believed her as she doesnt feel contractions at all. I had her speed of labour, but still got some pains. 6hrs and 1hr 50mins were my 2. almost gave birth in car park lol
oh yes - how could I have forgotten the san towels.
make sure the clothes you take (grows are easiest) for the baby are big enough - especially if like me you give birth to a christmas turkey!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9lb 14oz (emergency c section but that was coz he had the cord around his neck & my blood pressure fell)
I knew that I would have to stay in hospital for 3 nights after my twins were born so I took my own pillows and was able to make myself comfortable.
polythene bag for bloody clothes for OH to take home & wash ;)
lip balm, i was constantly using it. i got those little round tins of vasaline and my boyfriend would open it, put it to my mouth and i'd just kiss it.

also, it would be worth making a few meals for at home and freezing it or buying in some pizza, micro meals etc for the first couple of weeks after the baby is born. it'll give you something to do when your pacing about the house in the last couple of weeks waiting for the baby to arrive

i breastfed for the first week and i hardly ate, peed, brushed my teeth or moved from the same spot for that week

a change of clothes for your partner and toothbrush. I was in hospital for 4 days so he needed it and he also decided to change his socks half way through labour... as you do!!!

i had nibbles in my bag which was a big mistake as all i could think about was the bounty in it. they wouldn't let me eat so it was a nightmare!!

some tea tree oil would be usefull for after. i used it in the bath, its meant to help with healing after birth

i had 2 baths at the hospital with lavander in it
