Hi All
I'm 24 weeks pregnant with baby no 2 and have been in agony with my back. My doctor has offered me co codamol and on looking on the internet there is no conclusive proof that taking them doesn't harm your baby.
Has anybody else had any experience taking these tablets in pregnancy (good or bad) I'm keen to hear how other mothers have gotten on.

Thanks in advance.

My experience with cocodamol and similar products with codeine is, is that it makes you constipated.... ask your pharmacist, they will be very up to date with products and contra-indications, I often think your chemist is the best place to ask.
I agree check with your pharmacist, cocodamol taken in the late stages of pregnancy can affect babies breathing.
I took them by mistake instead of my paracetamol. I had no effects and they actualy worked where the paracetamol didn't.
