My separated X still has my garage and car key and refuses to return them

I recently separated from my husband about two months ago. He asked if he could keep his Camero in the garage and I agreed. But when I started dating he got enraged and removed his car from the garage. I asked him to return both my garage and car keys but he won't hear any of it. Both car and house is on my name and I purchased them before our marriage. I can't file for divorce until next year to get uncontested divorce. what can I do?

Go to the police and report the theft of your property.

Tell him you will go to the police....change the lock on the garage door in the mean time
