I lost my son last weekend, he was 17 weeks early and survived for 23 hours.
I made a choice of not having a funeral service. But instead wanting to have a day for everyone to celebrate his short life. Does anyone have any ideas? Much appriciated in advance x

Just wanted to send my thoughts to you - such sad news x
So sorry to hear this news. My Niece lost a baby just 6 months old. To remember her they went into the countryside late at night and as a family with her other children they picked a prominent star and named this star (just between the family) Sarah Jane. Now every night they look to the window to see the star and say goodnight to Sarah Jane.
i woudl suggest just a simple gathering...trying to organise something elaborate at the moment may just stress you out

there is a place where you can go and create your own crossbred rose...and choose your own name...i remember years ago peter cushing, the actor made one after his wife died...
apologies for adding nothing useful to the thread other than my sympathies at this sad time xx
I send my love to you xx the loss of a child is the most grief to bear. My brother died suddenly at the age of 36 and my mum will never get over it. My prayers are with you and be reassured that life is eternal and we all meet again on the otherside. xxx
