don't worry about going on - plenty of people do it on here. i'm sorry i don't understand how you don't know how long it took you to previously apply - i just don't understand your answer "I dont know as I set a date with them I start get esa"

You'll have to put in an appeal explaining why the form was late and if they accept your reason for lateness your benefit will be re-instated and your form will be assessed and probably you will have to attend a work capability assessment to determine if you are fit to do some kind of work.If they do not accept the reason you returned your form late you will be treated as fit for work, you can appeal this decision but would not be paid ESA during the appeal and would have to claim JSA and be looking for work while the appeal is heard.
Not clear whether you have an existing claim or whether this is a new claim.
If you fail to return the questionnaire within the time period your claim could be stopped, unless you have a good reason.
If you have a good reason you'll need to provide supporting evidence.
If you simply forgot, you may have to make a new appliction.

if you can't do any work because you are disabled, that's a different thing to not being able to work because of looking after a 10 month old. The statutory legal requirement is to have 14 days off after giving birth - you clearly fall well outside that and would be expected to be looking for work. You may find because you will now have a break in ESA they will treat you as a new claimant and have to assess you again
If you've received a letter saying your claim has ended then your claim has ended. It has stopped. You will receive no more money.
You can ask for that decison to be reviewed if you can provide good reason for failing to return the questionnaire on time.
Otherwise you have to start again with a new application.
