She's 93 and has little windows of clarity - but never complains, grateful for all that is done for her, and the carers we met are lovely. That's how she is.
I phone and check up on her every week, but there's no point trying to speak to her, unfortunately.
Honest, hardworking, pretty, stylish and generous. RIP Mum xxx
She was always there for me and my brothers and sister. I miss her very much.
She fought against breast cancer and won.
At least she doesn't smell.
Mine fought breast cancer and lost. :-(
Jools so sorry to hear that . My mother no longer here, but never forgotten every day...not just mother's day. Bless mothers everywhere, for many of them sacrifice so much for their children.
Sorry to hear that Jools.
When i had my migraines, she always ironed my clothes for me to wear to work, and weekends so i did'nt have to. Also she gave me pocket money till i was 23, and cooked me lovely food when i came home from work. she always bought me clothes (she got fab taste in clothes) i love my mum with all my heart and more. Happy mothers day mummy.xx
Thinking of you jools.xxx
the only person that loved me unconditionaly wish i had realised that while she was here
I wish she was still here - I used to love giving her flowers on Mother's Day, she was always so pleased.
Not a particularly loving mother but one that set out to enjoy her social life and her music. Now suffering from Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia and can't remember what happened six hours ago. Still at home, just.
DTC, thinking of you x
She's doing a great job of looking after my dad in his hour if need.
After thirty years I still miss her.
She made good Yorkshire puddings.
thanks sibs, your and mine could have compared fashion designs, she still gets Vogue etc and the house is choc-a-block with clothing.
46 years without her and still missed.
She's a doll! I love her to bits and wish she'd hurry up and come home! My brother has had her long enough (since Wednesday!!!) Sibling rivalry/jealousy is still alive and well with us!
