In todays age what is the best option? I cant see a benefit of bringing a new human into this already overcrowded and struggling world. But adoption does not provide you with the same bond. I would feel guilty if I brought another life into this world. I would not feel guilty if I adopted. How can I sell this to my wife? She thinks the world and humans are amazing and we will continue to rule the earth for a long time

Having now seen your follow up posts I take it this is a wind-up then.
She thinks the world and humans are amazing and we will continue to rule the earth for a long time

Why on earth did you tell us that?
Have you got a different theory?
If struthmate is female and struthmate's "wife" is female....."real children" are not an option.....or am I missing something here?
You think . O.G?
He's lost his touch. Jeffrey and the push-up bench was way funnier...
I should learn to read the whole thread and take it all in before replying. But why change the habit of a lifetime ? Find a sentence in the OP one can react to and go for it.
poor effort at trolling struthmate - you are not supposed to obvious!
So you're in it for the money - you've just said so. All that rubbish about bonding with children - and why should you get Government money for doing so, and giving up work, when your wife wants YOUR children, not someone else's. If I were your wife I wouldn't be happy at all.
I vote for wind-up!
;o)
I adopted three wind ups and they are just as precious as the two wind ups I already had.
well, that's it, tenrec - you can still have "real children" then take on more of other people's if you have finance and capacity to do so. Some of the most successful fosterers already have a family of their own, grown up.
Good grief...with your attitude towards fostering as a way to make big bucks....there is no way you would qualify to care for any children. The important word is care. You're about as caring as a stone.
I hope this is a windup....it would be too scary otherwise.

No its so I can give up work to take care of the kids. Not in the game to be rich.
Really? - that's not what you said earlier:

"Its big bucks I cant wait really"
struthMate, you are female, according to your public profile. Who,then, is your wife who needs to be 'sold' your idea and 'who thinks the world and humans are amazing' ? Are we to read 'husband' and 'he' for 'wife' and 'she' ? If so,why did you write of your 'wife' ?

Or are you in a lesbian relationship, in which case what is the point you are now making about giving up work to look after children? ( And you would, logically, have to do that whether or not they were adopted, would you not?)
Even if you were serious arrests for GBH would permanently rule out any chance of fostering or adoption. A couple were refused adoption recently because the man admitted to smoking 1 cigar at Christmas 2 years previously !
I should have realised earlier that this was a 'scam'.
Wind up or not, there can be no fostering or adopting because of his/her criminal record.

Oh year sorry no we are both women in legal unity. I call her my wife. We wanted to have our DNA in a new kiddy and she would give birth. The more I think about it the more I like it.
:-) Lovely.
Have you to control your violent temper?
