I think lots know now that I've recently got married and am currently on honeymoon. I would like your opinions on this - we haven't had the official wedding photos yet obviously as we are still abroad however my SIL who came out for the wedding has posted wedding pictures she took on Facebook. I'm a bit miffed and feel she should have asked first. I have absolutely no intention of saying anything but don't you think this is a bit off? maybe I'm wrong?

I think I would be miffed too. I don't do facebook because I like my privacy!
I think she should have asked permission before she did this.
Live it up, I bet you look stunning! Shake a little tail feather, yeah ;)

I actually don't do Facebook either but OH does
Can't see what's wrong with it unless you sold the rights to Hello magazine.
Congratulations anyway

Because panky I wouldn't post pictures of the bride and groom before they'd even seen any for all my friends to see. I wouldn't dream of it. Having said that I don't want to feel niggled about it so I value your view.
I agree. To post private material on a social network site without permission is reprehensible.
This is the age we live in now, I had pictures of me cooking xmas dinner posted on facebook and twitter before I even sat down to eat it.
@Prudie.......First + foremost, many congratulations...I wish you every happiness,.....secondly, your SIL is bang out of order and I offer you further congrats for managing to keep your cool and just describe your feelings as "miffed + niggled"....I know I wouldn't be as classy + restrained ;)

I totally agree with Bathsheba.
:-)
Can I ask why you're so miffed? she posted her pics not the official pics
I'd be annoyed too, just as you would be Panky if you saw pictures of your special day published to the world without your permission.

I have known people to make a statement on their wedding invitations to embargo their wedding photos on all social media sites such as Facebook. Shame you have to state the obvious to some relatives but its a sign of the times I guess.

But as Dizmo says, shake a tail feather Prudie and have a lovely honeymoon.
agree I would not be happy...
congratu;ations. You are wrong i'm afraid :)
I don't think it would bother me.
Looking at it another way, she has saved you the bother of having to post them yourself.
These things happen. Not much you can do about it so best forgotten. I am not on Facebook as I don't have 293 friends!
Congratulations on your wedding. :0)
I can understand you being upset - but they are her pictures and she is free to do whatever she wants with them.
Prudie - many congratulations on you marriage. Don't let the face book thing spoil your honeymoon, try and put it to the back of your mind and enjoy yourselves.
