My dad is visiting his parents' and he wants me to go with him. But I hate going because I can't leave my mom alone and my mom also hates meeting my grandparents. Besides their house is very small. I dont want to go not because I hate my grandparents or something but I just hate visiting the village. I want to say I dont want to go but I am sure my dad will try to persuade me, by saying my grandparents want to see me. How can I let him down easy?

By th way I tried telling him that I dont feel comfortable there but he wouldn't listen. He keeps saying I'm asking you as a father and come with me if you respect me. How to convince him? He is very stubborn.

Be mature and go to see them. We all have to do things we are not comfortable with that's life. Don't be selfish, think of others feelings.

I don't think there is an easy way. Explain to him why you don't like the village, you must have a reason.

We had a little incident and people keep talking about it which is very uncomfortable when you have your neighbors talking about you behind your back. My dad doesn't bother about this because he doesn't have anyone who talks about him. I can't tell him that this is the reason either. I just want a polite let down.

Yeah he does but he is really stubborn and does not think about other's feelings. He just wants his wish to be fulfilled, you know kind of selfish...
