This is rather dangerous and is giving away lots of personal information about your children that could be used for scams etc.

I would have nothing to do with it.

Remember that personal information such as name, middle name, mothers maiden name, date of birth, address etc can all be used by scammers to get credit cards and loans in other peoples name so EVERYBODY should guard this sort of personal information as much as they can and not "give it away".
