opinions ( Good ongoing relationship btw parents -) I'm co-parent "A" dropping my 7 yr old son off at parent "B"s house with a hermit crab that grandma got. Parent B (and parents "B"s spouse who also has a 4yr old son there) don't allow the crab to be at their house because parent A didn't ask permission first , they don't want the responsibility of taking care of a hermit crab which is very little maintenance, and don't want it to cause problems btw the boys. So should parent A have asked first or is parent B being rediculous?
I think parent A should have informed parent B. However, i think parent B needs to get a grip and not be such an awkward sock about it and just look after the crab jhee what's the problem.
Out of common courtesy to everyone concerned parent A should have confirmed with parent B it was ok to take a pet to parent B's house. IF you expect parent B to accept full responsibly for a pet without previous consultation then I think its you that is being unreasonable.
