don't see why not. Have you tried speaking with your local council, that's the place to start i would have thought. Or try the CAB in your area and see what they might suggest.

you can always apply but the likelihood of you getting one is very low

I think it depends how much of the time the child spends there....but we are not the people to ask, your council housing department is the place to start....you might also look at social housing in general as well as council owned.

Perhaps it also depends on whether your child is a son of daughter. There will come a time when you shouldn't share a room.
