Otherwise it's a good name. Alanna does not go well with it because it requires a definite stop to sound it correctly. You need a consonant.
When choosing names for children, try to work out what nicknames they're likely to end up with at school.
Anyone with the initials ARK is likely to get called 'Noah'. R King will become 'Sparky', whereas A King might just become 'Pain'!
Individual given names can lead to nicknames too, with Ria possibly becoming 'Birdy' or 'Long Neck'.

Why on earth are you asking? You will get so many conflicting answers on here you'll be back to square one. Chose a name you like and go for it - what other folk think is neither here nor there. Names will always be shortened - friend called her daughter Denise as she thought it wouldn't be changed. She's been Denny all her life.
chrissakes maggie this is a wind up: that is why he is asking
I liked my bit about the glottal stop....
next time it is both barrels of a schwa
Charlotte I like a lot but DOES I fear rhyme with harlot - but quite honestly so what? TTT ( here) doesnt seem to mind the obvious rhyme of penis-brayne. He ( TTT) is at it again with the House of commons, did you see? - Dirty boy!
