Girl I know actually believes that Elon Musk is sending her subliminal messages to go rob banks. (She isn't actually doing it. She goes all disguised and puts her card into the ATM thinking that he gains access to the servers). Ay their local hangout place, she said he wrote in neon lights on the windows 'thank you for helping'. I was with them a few days ago and she genuinely believes every little coincidence she sees is Elon pranking her or something.

Furthermore, she has grown distant over the last two months. I thought she was just going through depression but after having seen her, I saw it was something worse. When speaking to her, she says that she has never been happier. Even though she has left her job, stopped going to the gym and doesn't leave her house anymore. I know she always used to think quite highly of me, now it's as if I don't matter. Is that part of the psychosis?

could be, she should be referred to a GP for assessment and then a mental health team for support. I have been there and it's an almost impossible thing to deal with if she doesn't get help.
You refer to a "girl" rather than a "woman". If she is that young perhaps you could warn her parents ?
