Do You Think He Has Gone Off Me?
I said I'd make a new thread earlier so like I explained in my other one. This guy I went on a date with 2 weeks ago and as I explained he said he wanted a 2nd we were meant to go out last Friday but he cancelled as he has a cold. He said on Sunday he would let me know if he wants to go out this week but said yesterday he has a cold but also hasn't been messaging me in the morning like he normally would

It's better to find out fairly quickly that he's not interested, rather than have him string you along for ages. Looking back, I think the signs were there early on that he wasn't as keen on you as you seemed to be on him. He was just looking for a way out/hoping you'd get the hint.
I'm amazed an attractive, well dressed girl doesn't get to know men in the wine bars etc you visit
Abbey first dates are just away to get to know people - they don't mean you are going to hook up forever. Maybe after thinking about it your constant messaging has made him think you are too clingy. I know you have difficulty understanding people communicating with you, but please take it from me you should not keep messaging him. If he did want to take it further he would invite you on another date and not keep making excuses. Its not your fault, sometimes things don't work out how both people want them to.
Many years ago I had an enquiry from a lady who wanted to rescue a Greyhound. I took her details and said I would get back to her when we had something suitable. Over the next couple of weeks she bombarded me with phone calls asking when I would get her a dog, and then asking if she had done something to upset me, then asking if it was a scam and saying her family told her to go to the police as I was obviously a criminal trying to commit fraud etc etc. I found out from someone that she had been doing this to other rescues and was very lonely and was autistic, and did not understand how to interact with people. I did manage to find her a dog, and it had a lovely home for a long time. Moral of the story don't keep pestering and you might get what you want in the end.
