Excellent- is this todays post to wind up the good folk of AB?
i'm assuming this is a joke.....so with that in mind.........Have you tried.....paperbags over the head? With eyes cut out so the ugly sprog can see, be cruel otherwise Or, just going out at night when not as many people are about.
If all else fails console yourself with the fact you'll make a fortune at Halloween.

Clearly you have mistaken your child for the family cat, which explains why you are getting so badly scratched when you change its nappy.
As for the child, I worry about the nutritional value of Whiskas when clearly bottle feeds might be more appropriate at this early stage of development.
Hopefully, and I mean hopefully, you have not recently had the, ahem, 'cat' neutered..?

Nat, i have seen some real ugly babies, but still the mums are besotted, its natires way of ensuring we dont eat them!
My baby is absolutely beautiful now, but even i look at her newborn pics and she was all fat, and swollen, but she was the most beutiful little thing i had ever seen!

How old is baby monkey? What weight was he? I have two boys and I have been told that they are better than average looking (they have both been asked to model) I would say that me and other half are probably about average looking. I now love my boys and agree that they are handsome little dudes, but when they were born, I thought the same as you - I felt obliged to think that they were beautiful, but I didn't think so, I think that it is the lack of eyelashes or something, but they gradually improved and I grew more keen to show them off - somewhere aroung the 3- 6 month point . Don't let it get you down. You will bond with the little monkey in time. Incidentally, my sister's little boy was categorically the ugliest thing I have ever seen, a bit like an eagle chick, very scrawny and with big bulbous eyes - he is now 4 and is pretty cute!
My first baby was ugly. I shocked everyone by claiming this, even though they probably thought the same thing. She had a dented in head, squew whiff eyes. The shock of ginger hair was a blessing!
Joke or not, the sad reality is that a LOT of babies are god-awful-ugly. Most of the time they grow into swans ;o)
