Tiddlywinks - but with an obstacle course - shoes, pillows or cushions, small boxes, books piled up to form a pyramid shape.... extra points for getting your counters into certain containers (the shoes or boxes) or points deducted for not being to flick the counter off a pillow or collapsing a pile of books... great fun and probably easier for the smaller kids than the larger ones...
Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, Monopoly or Dominoes are classics and can be enjoyed by any age or ability.
Nice one for even thinking about everyone having fun on Christmas afternoon, rather than just watching the idiot box or eating too much !

Hiya,
I borrowed a flip chart and pens from my office a while back for a party. My mates and I were split into 2 teams and following pretty much the same rules as charades, one person from each team would take it in turns to draw whatever it was the other team had told them and their own team had to guess what the pic was.
It was mostly film and TV shows (obviously spelling out the answer made it void) and the results were very funny (particularly since a lot of booze was involved).

Yes!!! Get a medium size bowl either plasic or glass, dont matter, plain flour and a wedding ring, tip the flour into the bowl pat it down firmly, get a blacksack and lay it onto the floor and tip the bowl over like you do to make sand castles and stand the ring up in the middle of the mound. Get a knife and take it in turns to cut a slice of the flour away without the ring faling in, if the ring does fall, then the person that cut the slice of flour that made the ring fall, has to put their arms behind their back and try to get the ring out of the flour with their teeth, its FUN.
