Exactly who should receive a gift at a wedding? I saw a list that said bridesmaids, best man, ushers and Mums. Now someone has said Dads too. I now can't find the website i looked at before that gave a good list and when I search I just get website selling gifts but not advising the exact tradition. Thanks.

do you need to follow laid down rules on this one? I say gifts for those involved and to anyone who deserves a special thank you.

and if I were there.. obviously me. I love surprises :o)
I've never been at a wedding where a Father has been given a gift. I'd say it's personal choice though. Do whatever you feel is right and have a fantastic day!

Totally up to you - we bought a lot of gifts because we had so many people help to make our day special. We bought for each other, the bridesmaids, mother AND father of the bride, mother of the groom, best man, ushers, auntie who did my make-up and friend who designed all the stationary! Only small tokens each but felt it was appropriate.
I personally think its mean to leave the dads out x in most cases have contributed to a lot of the expense of the special day x i couldnt buy a present for my mum without buying one for my dad x
most important its your special day and its your decision as to who you feel deserves a gift x
good wishes to you for your wedding and future x
