i dont know vibra maybe its because she turned 18 2 weeks ago and finally started to grow up
i wrote her a letter to tell her how much i loved her but how what she said hurt me i also pointed out where i was going wrong and i put a stamp on it and posted to where she was staying at her nans house
she phoned me up out of the blue and said we need to talk
im not saying its 100% BUT WE ARE SO MUCH BETTER

That's so lovely to hear, zzxxee.
I do remember your post and had wondered how things were. My daughter is going to uni in September and paying the deposit for her accomodation has really hit home that I'm not going to see her as much.
I'm dreading it!! :(
We already spend a certain amount of time away from each other as her father and I split up a good 6 years ago, so over the week she (and her two brothers) stay with me for the first part of the week and with their father for the second part, So I guess I have a bit of a head start in terms of coping with not seeing them every day.
I just hope our relationship isn't affected by her moving away.
I hope things continue to improve for you both. And, well done you for writing the letter! x
