I am having a party and would like to throw a murder mystery but I have not got a clue where to start how to write one or indeed how it would all work - there will be about 25 - 30 of us and we will be staying over for two nights can anyone help XX

The murder mystery kits are really good - saves you a lot of effort and comes with costume and menu suggestions too. Not sure they cater for as many people as you have in mind though. There are event companies that can stage this kind of thing for you if you look around the net - if all the guests chip in I doubt it would be too pricey.

lyndylou, search for murder mystery on eBay, there are loads. We do this regularly with a group of friends, we all dress up and take on the different roles, and the menu is given in the kit too. Great fun.

People have to agree to join in before the party, as you send them an invitation with their character details on so they can get into costume. We've done it with 10 people and its a great laugh.
