What time do you think is reasonable for a 10 year to go to bed?

8.30 zzxxee?! Good lord - at this time of year I'm lucky to get rid of my 11 year old at 10 as it's still light! only a couple of weeks til the summer holidays.. then I'll be in bed before the kids!!

For all the children who go to bed late and they are under 11 when do you get some "me" time before bed.? Also why not do as my daughters and let them read or something whilst in bed, they are still resting.

our 5 and 7 yr olds go at 7-730 then its a bedtime story before lights out! there usualy asleep 7:45ish but in this hot weather they have been tossing and turning a bit!
Some of our friends who have children of a similar age let there children stay up till 930-10 so they can have lie-ins at the weekend!! but in my opinion thats just being selfish! i think for a 10yr old 9 oclock on a school night it quite late enough.
