did anyone else not receive their tax credits today? i am well under the new 40,000 limit and when i rang them they said their systems are down until Tuesday- im hoping this is the reason why and my credits haven't been stopped!!

If they were going to stop them they would have written to you.

Also...if you were awarded them when you returned the form they wouldn't be stopped unless you report a change in circumstances.

thats the thing i after i got my renewal pack back to them in july they said i was still entitled and they have been paying me since, but sometimes my letters from them don't turn up until 2 weeks after the money has changed so i really dont know whats going on- on a very rare occasion i get them on a monday but thats been 3 times in the last 5 years! i have took a paycut at work so i know i should definitely be getting them

Have you reported the pay cut?

If so they might be reassessing your claim...

not yet- i only started my new job on 27th september i was aiming to call them on thursday as thats my day off i have been doing 9-5 i didnt realise that they were 8-8 til a few hours ago....ill have to call them on Tuesday and see what they say

just got hold of someone at HMRC- she didnt actually believe that i get my tax credits on a saturday but said because of their systems being down that if i didnt get it yesterday ( friday) then i should get them on monday... phew!! hopefully ill see them Monday then!

well i still didnt get my tax credits .... starting to get really annoyed!!
