Ex-Directory Numbers
82 Answers
I am trying to get in touch with a friend but have their name and address only. 118118 have told me that they are ex-directory. Is there anyway I can find out what their phone number is?
Kind regards

Anything posted on here is just anything I am happy to chatter about/ share so I havent divulged any of my deep dark secrets -honestly (saved for a select few tried and trusted along with my moby number).

I am ex directory and still get 'dodgy' phone calls. They are bloody annoying - I admit there are times when you do have to fill your phone number in on forms etc. A recent dodgy call was from someone called John, who was supposedly looking for a couple who he met in Tenerife called Jean and Bill. He rattled off my phone number, and said this was the number 'Jean' had given him.
He asked my name, to which I said Sue and then went onto say he had a bar in Tenerife blah blah blah would I like to visit him - the next line was going to be 'what are you wearing' to I told him to f...k off and put the phone down. He also rang about 8 months ago, I recognised his voice.

Far too (wordly) wise to let a simple thing which is widely available bother us Doc XX
Plus I switch off my land line at night so I can get a sleep. If its urgent then anyone who doesnt have my mobile number (always on -msgs can sometimes be missed but a call wouldnt be) could get me through a network of friends plus failing that my address is in the Phone Book and we're back at square one lol
