A few days ago I tried a bottle of this stuff just to see what it tasted like. Also local Coop had it on offer for £1.50(it's in a pint bottle). It was a very pleasant drink although I don't think I could drink much of it as it was just a little sweet for my taste. Any else tried it?

I agree MN, I live within 5 miles of the Rattler centre (hic). I would even drink a point of that funni Devonian stufff before Stella Cidre. It makes a good base for a stew though in Belgium

Lived there for a few years....now "une Orval" and we are talking.
DTC ...

It sounds like the "Fans Reunited" day at Plymouth went well.

Mostly, I don't care how I get home. I can walk home from the town centre, so it's no prob usually.

Dave ... I don't do pints (unless I'm drinking in the PV ... LOL, LOL).
jayne - I shall keep a look out here for some news about your crew - I am not a Plymouth Argyle fan per se, not really a soccer fan but if so a Red that whipped your team this week. Prefer the bladder game and in my element at the moment re NZ.

1 mile "as the crow flies" - three miles after 3 pints of cider - bit like my golf.
LOL, DTC ...

The "Reds" did not "whip" our team ...

They managed to hold on, and won a tight match. We made them work for it.

Westons r Dunkertons organic are both nice.

Cidre is to cider what Stella is to beer. The Belgians should stick to what they're good at - trappist ales.

We have a local cider maker called 'Mr Whiteheads' who often has his wares at local farmers markets. My favourite is Rhubarb cider, imagine the tartness of rhubarb in a cider. The strawberry cider is too sweet though.
Ive tried it but i dont think id sya it was a sweet cider well not compared to other ciders ive tried that are sweet. Cant say its my fav cider though, i prefer rekordeling, kopparberg, bulmers No 17. I did used to buy a sweet cider from sainsburys but they have discontinued it.
I preferred the Magners Pear cider, its cracking on a warm day, goes down a treat, bit expensive though.
