Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

good morning all, a bright and pleasant start to the day but all this dry weather is playing hob with my water bill because of keeping all the plants going....heigh ho I don't mind.

Hello all. Have altered 3 floor length curtains but they look better now. Taken 2hrs. Now dyeing some bathroom mats. Hope it works ok.

Think this dye job has been sucessful, it was a liquid dye.
I've also done a pile of ironing that wasn't done when sis was here and have made a corn beef hash for dinner.

Yes dye job was successful, all even and no patches! Very wintry here, diner was nice, so house is cleaned , mopped and I am bathed and in bed ready for Corrie.

that is very good Neti. Today i have gardened, sorted yet more rubbish, put a drawer pull on my old new desk, put brass castors on a small occasional table, added a magnetic door catch to the living room door, sorted out my auto watering stuff and ordered what i need to set it up in the tortoise pen. I have now had too much wine and am enjoying it.

I have done buffer all interesting and have been bored witless all day.
Not strictly true as did do washing ,got it dried and put away and cooked the dinner ,plus other little boring household things like pushing a duster around .
Fed up with crosswords,knitting ,I even slung my book across the room today .
I need a job ..lol. I wish I was fit and able to go to work .
And ...there's nowt on teevee.
I think I've had a grumpy old woman day .

lol neti, I remember Peter O'Toole (who lived not far from us) saying the only exercise he ever took was walking behind the coffins of friends who'd taken exercise.

I have been doing my patriotic duty on another focus group today, at a museum. I am pleased to be working to improve the England Visitor Experience, which should make for a better country all round. A nice buffet lunch was provided and we were given catalogues to a recent exhibition that can't have been selling too well. Plus I went into town to a lecture on Charles II's building programme.

well that was short lived enjoyment.The wine mixed with the hayfever tablet taken earlier and I went out like a light.

Good morning. Changed the bedding and have got in such a muddle with the duvet. Couldn't get in in straight so have given up. One side is empty and other is lumpy bumpy.

Grey, cold and it was a misty start. Turned out lovely yesterday and I managed to stay warm.

It's a lovely day ,bright and sunny.Nice and warm in the garden.
I've worked off the grumps by glaring at dandelions and pulling them out but my back and hips have given up on it now.
Lol ,Robinia I sometimes think I was born grumpy .

Hello everyone. Like the bad penny I'm turning up again. I honestly have been so busy in the day times and evening I've just flaked at the end of the day.
I got over my lost voice and ended up with the hay fever sessions the worst I've ever had but I still had such a lot of stuff to do but even the the antihistamines knocked me out. Sorting out the decorating of the the hall landing and stairs, should be done next week, school, new micorave had to be returned to John Lewis and a new one delivered. The first time a huge John Lewis van has been in this Close. Well to my house anyway. Only had it 2 weeks and the bulb inside went out.
Also had some letters to write to NZ and Australia plus friends over here I usually write to after Christmas and I thought I better do them before the next one.
Anyway I have sat and caught caught up with your posts and I can say I've felt like some of you have and laughed laughed at some of your antics and typeos.
I'm giving the Master Chef programme chance to get to the last quarter of an hour so I can see who has won. I have to admit I get a bit bored with it early on.
Going to Nottingham for the day tomorrow with my W.Friend to Live At Lunch. Then to the French restaurant for the usual lunch with bread and butter pudding for afters.
I think I'll get a rest at the weekend.
Hope you're all B.O. like we do and you have a goodnight. Even though I don't post often I still think about you all now and again.

Hello Jude, nice to see you :) I have been tidying again here today, almost done spring cleaning for the year which is unusual.
My Tower Poppy arrived today. I was quite surprised, I was expecting a "sorry and here's you refund" letter.
