Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

hello all, spent last night drinking gallons of hot tea to ease the throat and control the cough. I look like a really old shot away hamster. haven't seen last tango yet, found Foyle very confusing but that might be the virus.
Poor woofy, not having much fun are you? Take care and get well soon. How do the dogs cope when you are under the weather?

Just made lovely roast lamb with trimmings, and even real gravy, if only an inch! Mr N laughed at the amount but it surficed, tomorrow he's getting Bisto!!
Just seen a little snippet on the local news .Interview with Honeysuckle Weeks and Anthony Horowitz .This Sunday will be the last Foyle ever ,he's not writing anymore :(
:-(
And I like Foyle too. What a dismal dreary dark wind wet day. And that's me who doesn't really mind walking in the rain.
Just watched a programme on telly about nail extensions. I'm glad I had my Christmas ones taken off last week. They looked ok but I couldn't get use to doing normal household things in them. Anyway apparently some salons are using a substance to stick them n that has been banned in the US which can destroy real nails.
Going to watch Silent Witness tonight. I really have watched a bit more telly then I normally do this winter.
Have to go there's a story about the rivalry between forest and Derby football teams. Laters Gaters.
Sorry about that that was really interesting about Derby and Nottingham. Not just the football teams about the industry and everything. The first instance was Derby creating a Park and calling it The Arboretum and 10 years later Nottingham did the same even the name.
Woofy get well soon. Question for you, if I keep getting this pain in my left leg and I think its arthritis would ibuprofen be better than paracaetamol.
Hope everybodies aches and pains aren't too bad today.
Have a good night.
I think ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and paracetamol isn't, so ibuprofen might be the better bet.
Question Author
jude I agree with Jno, first choice would be ibuprofen. Can I have another moan please? I have coughed so much my ribs feel bruised.
You can take ibupfrofen and paracetamol together Jude if you want to .
I do sometimes for pain relief when I'm really desperate . Two paracetamol every 6 hours and 400mg ibuprofen every 6 hours .
Where exactly in your leg is the pain ?
Oh dear,Woofy it's a barsteward .I coughed so much at one stage I was sick and gasping for breath .
Have you tried steam inhalation ? Towel over head over bowl of hot water with some Olbas in it .That might loosen it .It helped me .
Night all .Hope you poorlies feel better soon ,myself included...lol.
Question Author
shaney its loose enough, that's half the problem. I have got both a chesty and a tickly cough at the same time. Still what doesn't kill us and all that....
Lol...my Mum used to say ..what can't be cured must be endured .
I think I've endured this damn bug for long enough !
I don't know what else to suggest .I had antibiotics but they didn't really clear it up 'cos it came back .I drink lots of lemon and honey and have the odd swig of whisky :)
I've got some stuff from Germany which is really good .It's this

If you want a box email me and I'll send you one .I have lots of packs in the pantry .Hope you feel better soon .

Thank you Shaney that's so kind, I've got a similar lemon and ginger tea which is very comforting. My minds says hot toddy but my stomach says no. Heigh ho tomorrow is another day Cnythia
Good morning,

Oh dear woofy that is awful, how much more can you take? Yes it's a dreadful feeling, it's when I cough up blood that I worry but apparently it's just a burst something or other. Hope you can rest and keep warm.

Shaney are you on the mend? I do hope so- I dread getting this but at least until Feb, too many hospital apps for this month.
Also very dank and dark here. Popped down the land to close the gate after Mr N left and trod in a huge pile of poo, why do dog owners let them loose??
Sitting in village having a lone coffee, very chilly and damp. Eye aching like mad! Home soon.
Morning all, it was a bright sunny day but it's gone grey now. I've rushed about...not my style...nipped to the shop, washed my hair in prep for the hairdresser and now it looks like she's running late. Hope I've not been forgotten.

Jude are you ok with ibuprofen with your tummy? I daren't take them now, wish I could.
Oh dear woofy, I feel for you, I'd hate to get a bad cough with all these aches 'n pains. I get a tickly throat at night and have to curl up if I have to cough...or sneeze. The only thing I've taken in recent years is Buttercup syrup. Get well soon.

went for a walk, that is Siesta village in the backround.
Good day all
Nice and bright but cold .Gales of wind again later according to Accu.
Hope you're all ok and that you feel a bit better Woofy .These things are so hard to shake off .
I was thinking earlier, I haven't been out of the house since 23rd December ..blimey .
Mr S has been out this morning though to collect my click from Debenhams and he's brought home a dressed crab and some cockles . Oooh lovely :)
Hairdresser didn't forget me which was just as well, it's her last week before she has a break to have a baby. I'll be wearing a balaclava if she doesn't hurry back.
It piddled it down for a good few hrs here this afternoon...not sure whether the snow will reach us tonight.

Dressed crab, lovely.
Actually I feel like a dressed crab, someone scraped my insides out, mashed them and stuffed 'em back. :)
