Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

lol shaney...my demanding neighbour used to ring me at the crack of dawn to tell me all about her ins and outs (sometimes literally, in glowing detail)...and then she'd say what are you having for dinner? ...I told her many times I didn't have it until evening.
oooh, perishing night, I was freezing in bed, upset tummy, cramp in foot, tickle in throat, eventually left OH to sleep in peace, took a sleeping pill and huddled down under the duvet in the spare bedroom and have just woken up and it's still cold. We are eating out with friends this evening, as it is the dine-for-a-tenner-promotion time of year.
It's still perishing here! Rf -5C. Nipped to the shops and didn't think I was still capable of moving that quickly...the cold goes straight through to your vest.

I cleaned out the fish pond filter today and there was actually ice on the pond! I put on three layers of everything and had a hot shower straight after.
Oh dearie me biddies - and her am I full of the joys!! except for my sore and runny eye!

Pleased with hair cut, although my head is a rainbow of colours at the back, I have a grey halo (in the front it is a lovely white colour) above that it is golden blonde (Bottle) and in the nape it is mousy which is my natural (in places) colour. Am going to have to invest in getting it coloured the same.

Have made a black valance for the bed and attached it, cleaned house met friend for coffee (she with the husband with altzheimers - he's getting worse, she is desperate!) Went to hairdressers also had eyebrows tinted , so now I have some again! Mace an apricot pie and a apple and blackberry one!! Done 3 loads of washin (bedding takes two loads!)

Beautiful sunny day although was very overcast earlier, still chilly. Sitting down with a cuppa and tst with gldn syrup! Yum
Lol at your thread in cb woofy...worse than that I thought it was a diaphragm (Dutch cap). I wondered if someone had lost it and a Scottish gynecologist had rediscovered it. :)

Robi a mate of mine at college and I used to swear that Roland rat's ears were made from diaphragms....once you've seen it, you can't not see it

Hahaaa...I thought it was a lemon or a slug .
As it was such a lovely crisp day I had a wander out to the mexico to hand in my repeat scrip, then a hobble down the High St .It's amazing how much money you get through just buying odds and ends !
I couldn't find any moleskin notebooks though or fancy pens ..hand them over at once Jno :)
I agree shaney, odds and ends cost me a fortune, much better if I buy a bigger thing outright.

Oooh I love cold apricot pie, soo delicious!!

Nothing of import to tell you. Hija says in Dubai it0s business as usual except no loud music for three days. Reminds me of when I first came to Ibiza at Easter, only solemn music was allowed for 3 days!
Neti ..what do you put in the pies as to apricots ? Are they fresh ones ?
I love apricots but they're not about here until the summer and mostly imported although there are some home grown if you can hunt them down and at a price .The only apricots I have atm are dried ones which I chop up and put on me porridge or Weetabix:)

Question Author
Our Tesco's have had some lovely imported ones.
Morning all...finally we're in plus figures, even though it feels a tad minus. Waiting for a washload to finish, hope I can survive the pegging out.

Loving the Roland Rat, hahaha...you're so right woofy, that's exactly what it looks like.

Google is so annoying sometimes....you can search 'Henrietta Cholmondley Warner' and they say 'do you mean Jane Smith'? NO, I DO NOT!.... tut....do as I ask please.

good morning all tis cold here and i have got tea.
afternoon all, have taken cumputer tower to shop in Ibiza where we bought it 10yrs ago (!) to see if they can repair it, honestly I ask you, wish Mr N would just go and buy a new one, of course they are not going to mend it!!!

Did shopping, had brekkie, then I decided to try to even out the cooour of my hair at the back with a slight improvement, but not perfect! Decided to clean the bathroom and soaked the loo seat in hot water and bleach, then couldn't get one of the screws back, finally managed, phew! Made sobrasada hash flan for tonight (no more pies for a while!) now eating Maggi yakisoba noodles, delicious.
Shaney at the moment I use tinned apricots, cheap ones, I thicken up some of the juice with cornflour, add some lemon juice and I think that's it. They are just like the ones Sainsbury's used to make when I was a kid, love them. But now have to careful that I do not eat too many as I never used to like pies that much (Who ate all the pies springs to mind!!)
Spending the night in a luxury hotel aka tarquins. Fell on my face on the way to the shops. Black eye nosebleed swollen face, nose. Mrs t gave me an exam, handy having a gp in the family, and they've brought me here to be safe. Didn't go to hospital. It was just awful. Still a bit shaken, not looking forward to the next few days. Please send healing vibes.:(
Ooh noo Robinia ,I am sorry .How on earth did you manage to do that .
At least you're not on your own and I'm sure you'll be well looked after .
Healing vibes coming your way, take it easy and rest xx

I've just popped in to say goodnight ,not a good day myself ,griping guts again .Never mind.
Thanks Neti ...tinned apricots sound lovely ....but not just atm :)
oh dear, how awful. I didn't realise you had a GP on tap, I would never go out without her if I had one. I hope she gave you 600mg of ibuprofen. They're probably looking into care homes now.

Very unpleasant losing your balance like that. I do it a lot, chalk a line on the pavement and I'll twist my ankle on it, fortunately no disasters yet but it'll be my turn soon.
Hello and thank you. No idea what happened, I was in the middle of the road, no traffic, next minute my face hit the tarmac. I staggered to a mature woman at the bus stop, carried on talking on her phone, gestured me to wait but I couldn't so I made it home alone. Laid on the floor and called my friend over the road and she came and waited til the T's arrived. ***.
Good morning,
Oh dear Robin that is awful, however did that happen?Thank goodness for the tarquins!
