Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

Can you tell me what it is please woofy? I might be able to search it. Very few youtube videos show on this kindle and copy and paste doesn't work.

Well it stayed dull all day, the washing didn't dry, and now I've got painful throat, glands and ears. Oh joy. I'm back to the mole game again (every time I peep out of the darkness something bops me back down).
quite foggy this morning so the Skygarden view wasn't up to much. The gardens themselves aren't exactly huge but they're looking quite good (still being new) - mostly Australian, NZ and Brazilian plants, says the gardener. But the owners cba putting notices on them identifying them or anything useful like that, and in a couple of months there will be only one gardener as the other's leaving.

Most of the area however is given over to food opportunities rather than gardening. On the upside, it's free, though you have to book and take photo ID.

Somerset House was interesting - we toured the remains fo the Tudor palace, of which there are few, and saw the Roman bath, which isn't Roman.

Am resting up before my final assault on the silent film. Yes, Robinia, it's mainly tinnitus that makes my hearing so crap; but they're never really silent, either someone's added a sountrack in the last 80 years or they have live accompaniment. (Cinemas always used to have if not a pianist then a whole orchestra, Wurlitzer and all.) The main thing is that I don't have to interpret dialogue, I can just read it.

Robi, its an ad for android called "be together, not the same" its on youtube.
I have the same problem with my ipad, if I post a youtube link it wont work on computers
Sounds lovely jno...I'm sure neti will do some volunteer gardening when she's over here.

Oh yes woofy, found it, I love that, especially the dog pushing the buggy, lol.
I've got a mash potato nonstop monotonies in my ears so can't hear anyone shouting about gardening!! Its been getting louder lately, hate it!
Does sound nice jno but don't think I get go quite so high in the sky !

Felt really sick and sizzy this afternoon, may have been the morning's coffee, but managed to make moroccan cous cous for Mr N, didn't fancy it so had arroz a la cubana, rice , tom frito, fried egg and fried banana. Not sure what you call tomato frito over there, it is like puree only thinner.

Now in bed waiting for EE. Am so glad to get into my bed these nights lately! it's been sunny but so cold.

Love that link woofy!
Question Author
we call it frito or passata Neti
Just seen "Back in time for dinner" I did enjoy it, but think we had it better than some, we always ate tea together as a family and had hot cheese or beans on toast and always a midweek roast, never ever a cold left over dinner, and loved bread and dripping!!
right, that's my days activity complete. Tomorrow is a walk round Viking London. I can't quite remember why I signed up for this, I think it was probably OH's persuasiveness. I suspect we will be going to St Magnus Martyr, as I think he was a Viking. Apparently the line of the Danelaw (between King Arthur and the Vikings) went through London. I think we live in the Anglo Saxon part but I'm not sure. Woofgang must do, but Shaney and Robi are in the Danelaw.
Sounds like a busy interesting day Jno .Yes the Danes ransacked us here ,killed Edmund and left us some interesting place names.
I watched Back for Dinner .She was flummoxed by that tin opener .I don't remember the food being so awful,it was stodgy but there was enough to go round and we always ate together in the kitchen .My Mum was good at rustling up something out of nothing and I never turned my nose up at bread and dripping .My aunt used to us bring veg and stuff 'cos they had a smallholding and there was always plenty of fish here !
Hope you feel better soon Robinia,I wish it would warm up a bit then we'll all feel better.
That's a lovely clip Woofy .
Goodnight all.
Good moaning...bright and sunny but it was white over and frozen at 6am.
Have a good time again jno. I'm pleased some of us are having an active time, it's less Danelaw and more S0ds law for me I think. No sleep last night, well maybe an hour when I first turned the light out, sore throat/sinus/ears and glands big time stylie. I fed up.

I watched Ordinary Lies...it was ok, not exactly riveting. Maybe it was the way I felt or the fact I'm not keen on any of the actors in it.
Morning all
Brightening up after a murky start . Still not all that warm though.
Sorry you don't feel too good Robinia .If it doesn't clear up I would go to the mexico ,which reminds me I have to make an appt myself for a blood test.
Hope you're all ok otherwise .
Morning all, yes shaney dad had a huge vegetable garden with orchard and an allotment as we were so many, always fresh veg and marrow yuk, marrow jam, marrow this, marrow that, tasteless watery things! When mum was in hospital we stayed with three spinster sisters who had bought our last house, and they sent us off to schol with huge doorsteps of bread slathered with dripping, we were so embarrassed, I was only 5, and we had school dinners, sis and I used to eat them on the way home in the park as we would never waste food! Had to walk half an hour to school and back at that age on our own!! When I think about it now!!
Poor Robi, how awful to lay awake all night.

Yes Robi the virusses have been appalling this year, i hope you manage to throw this one off quick smart. I have woken up with an iffy back, not really painful but threatening so am going to take it easy today as i dont want to end up immobile again, its such a bore. Its a lovely spring day here....never thought I'd be saying that again any time soon.
oh dear, sorry to hear biddies are feeling poorly. I'll just get you some labels

As I thought, there's not a lot of Viking to see in London but we heard all about the history anyway, and it's a pleasant morning out but with a chilly wind.
Question Author
no need for that label Jno, everybody knows already!
lol, I still remember the sign above my hospital bed saying "confused". I wish I'd had a camera.
At least you remember the sign jno!!!

Mr N finished off his cous cous tonight and I had pork datay and noodles which I love, trouble is front teeth are loose and I cannot gnaw the bones and I love that!

Hope you feel better Robi!

As per, I am clean and tucked up in my cama (bed). It's blowing a hooley out there and all dark and threatening ooohhh!!!
