Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Good morning all, and a Happy Mothers Day to where applicable! It's not here until first Sunday in May, although it is in Dubai, so have had a natter to hija via whatsapp. expecting terrible storms, and two american jets have landed here to avoid the bad wether. Hugh hailstones in the Ibiza area, am still in my bed as it is rather cold again but the sun appears to be shining!

We are off out for lunch as per, but as Mr N gets up for wotrk very early it's nice for him to have a laze on a Sunday!

I have been given a nice set of pasta bowls; OH is now desperately trying to find somewhere to stack them. Personally, I always measure up shelf space before buying presents, not after (and give a lot of theatre tickets, restaurant vouchers etc that don't take up space at all).

Plus a new jacket, though as I had to go to Fenwick and try on their entire range before deciding, this one did not come as so much of a surprise.

We've had a nice lunch at the carvery paid for by my offspring..It was packed though and it was bums on seats so it was a bit eat and go but it was very nice. An Amazon voucher in my inbox this morning too so I'm a happy Mummy ..lol.

We went to San An to a lovely bistro, really enjoyed it, then we curled up by the fire and watched James Bond, I just couldn't get warm until about an hour ago! Mr N has gone to bed as there's not much to watch tonight (he's not into Mr Selfridge) so the cat and I are sitting quietly.

Off to see kidney specialist tomorrow, nice to know there's nothing untoward coming!

Me and the dogs had steak for dinner, it was lovely. I was going to do gardening but my loppers have vanished into the turmoil that is my garage so we pottered indoors instead.

jno jnr drove round today with cards for birthday and Mothers' Day, was roped in to set up the Sky box properly and take lots of rubbish to the tip, and rewarded with a roast lamb dinner at lunchtime and the company of his adoring parents. So everybody's happy.

good morning my little paracetamol munchers!! Pouring with rain in Paradise!! and I have to slog to the hospital again (4 buses) parking would cost about 10€, and I do not like driving in the rain, if at all!!

All the immigrants on this island are moaning about life, they think this is a magical island full of vibes and peace and love and yoga! Makes me cross, it's just a place in the world, things happen!!

Hope you all had a good night, I slept well even with the damn cat on my leg, and then after being let out at 5am she came in soaking wet and smelly, and proceeded to slept next to me again, why does her fur stink so when wet???

I guess it's Moaning Monday for me! Off to have brekkie and a bath and then off to bus stop, shall wear my new wellies which look like normal boots!

Morning All. Belated birthday wishes Jno. So sorry I missed it yesterday. I was a waste of space. Broke my promise to myself. Painting not finished. Missed your birthday, in fact didn't get on here all day.
In fact the truth is I'm on a but of a downer. I think it was because it was Mothering Sunday and it hits home. Never mind Ive got things to do this week and Thursday I'm going for a walk round Bakewell. Beautiful part of the county where you get the original Bakewell tarts. Mind you I will probably have to avoid them after my 1/2 hour chat to the Diabetics Nurse at the Drs. tomorrow.

I hope all goes well for you Neti on your visit to the specialist and everything is ok.

I was up at 6.30 and it's now 9.00 and all I've done is showered, breakfasted, fetched a paper. Oh well I'd better get cracking. Have a good day see ya later!

Morning all...dull and chilly.

Happy to see you've had a good birthday/mum's day/weekend.
Don't be down about Mother's day Jude. People's lives aren't black and white and it's one of the reasons I'm no fan of special days, it's always going to be difficult for some. My dad died when I was nearly 15 and in those times when there were fewer broken families it left me feeling 'different'. I've said before that my sons have always been good so I don't need a day to feel appreciated. Ozzy did send flowers and rang me and Tarquin came with flowers and the one man demolition squad, aka Moondust. He's talking now (in single words, not sentences) and he's hilarious. Mrs T stayed at home with Snowflake and a headache.

I've got an order to collect from Boots. Hopefully it'll include a new mascara, I've only got one spit's worth left :)

dentist this morning, I can't remember what for but it may be he wants to extract the root (top has long gone) bwtween the two current implants to put a bridge across. If my next post is rather muffled it'll be because I'm still under anaesthetic.

morning all, me too regarding the busses. I haven't used one for years because the local ones are so dire. My Sis, who busses everywhere when she is at home and also when on hols in the US keeps saying that she wants to get sorted on the busses down here in case she ever needed them. I have told her that she is very welcome, to take her phone so that when she gets stuck somewhere I can go and retrieve her! Tis grey and cold again here.

Doesn't feel any warmer out to me either. Job done, Boots order collected. Called in the charidee shop on the way back & found David Gates and Bread Essentials cd for £1...bargain, it's £14.62 on amazon! I've only got Bread on vinyl and I got rid of my Dansette :)
