Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.
Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...
I don't like lasagne either .I like ding fish pie and ding stew and dumplings Morrisons do a lovely dumpling topped pie .I'm anything for convenience if I can get a way with it these days .Ready mashed ,ready chopped ,ready anything really..lol.
I did faff with the waffle iron though and they were very nice .I had to locate an electric hand mixer .It looked quite shocked as I dragged it screaming from the cupboard :)
Morning all
Lovely sunny day but chilly.Hope you're all ok .
That'll be nice for you Neti.
I use Morrisons dumpling mix these days .Better than home made .Put it on your shopping list for when you come over.
looking sunnyish today. We are off to see The Who this evening so will need to take airsickness pills and crampons to tackle the steep upper slopes of the O2 arena.
A'noon all...dull,dull,dull and cold here. I got ready to go to the shops but decided I didn't really feel like going, so that was a waste of mascara. I think there are more dings in the freezer...in fact I know there's quiche, I'll have that.
Yesterday it was the chicken stew and dumplings, lol, great minds. I don't like lasagne either.
Good morning all, from a sunnu Ibiza. Off to get hair sorted again as don't liek this new style I have!
Robi hope you are feeling better, if not get to the mexico.
Jnp hope you behaved and enjoyed seeing The Who!
Hope the rest of you are OK, laters>>>>
Morning all...bright 'n sunny for now.
On the whole, in general, fingers crossed, I feel better, I'm just tired and achey...and a bit despondent. Like it or not I've got to get moving today.
I don't like my hair at the moment but my hairdresser's still on maternity leave...tut...how inconsiderate.
Did you watch Michael Portillo last night, Crime and Punishment? It was really good. Every night, BBC2, 6.30.
Morning all
Very dreary out there ,drizzling.Looks like more of the same for the next few days too.
I'm glad you feel a bit better Robinia .It does get you down when you don't feel well.I have to shift myself too,my brother is 81 tomorrow and I have no idea what to get for him .
Yes I watched Michael,it was interesting .He's a really good presenter and has certainly found a niche for himself after leaving politics.
Hope you enjoyed The Who Jno ,I expect you could see for miles and miles up there in the O2.
Dreadful news about plane crash, made me cry, don't know why!
Just making a chicken curry and a veg one.
Just bronzed myself up for photoshoot (I'm going to be a slightly punked up Helen Mirren type person!) defuzzed limbs, but face now looks African, scrubbing with soap like mad!!
Got the shopping done early, it's amazing how a bit of sunshine can spur you on. Still chilly though. I treated myself to some new slap, foundation & concealer and a nail polish. I thought I'd better keep up with the resident coverbiddy and ditch some of my old stuff..... neti the orange face and blue eyeshadow's looking a bit yesterday dahling ...
Moi? and you've just bought foundation and concealer??? Actually I never wear anything like that, too many wrinkles, need polyfiller more like! I wear 2 shades of brown eyeshadow. At this thing, they are making me up, dread the thought, I've warned them that I do not to tacky as I've seen a photo of one of the others, a 50 year old in lacy bodice and bikini bottoms and fishnets, she looks awful, my legs are better! Standards must be maintained!! and I say this most sincerely!!
Had a great time with The Who last night, just a duo like, um, Simon and Garfunkel now but with Pete's brother on guitar, Zak Starkey on drums and a couple of others I couldn't see because they didn't circulate on stage much.
can't wait to see the pics Neti. I have done much floor cleaning supervised by the people who do the floor dirtying. Then we had lunch, now we are digesting. I had the John West Lemon and Thyme couscous pot because I like couscous, it was disgusting.
Robi I am glad you are feeling betterer. I can't do mountaineering seats. Went to the theatre with some mates last year and the seats were in the dress circle. I had a funny feeling in my stomach the whole evening.
