Hi all. I worry when my two Steadies fly. Neither of them like to fly but they do it. Steady always has a drink. Not sure what Steadier does but he has had to go to America with the pupils. I'm sure your Hija will be ok Neti but I do understand your concern.

I went out yesterday morning in the pouring rain to go to Nottingham and when we got there the sun was shining but it was still cold and windy. Went to the Theatre Royal to see the classical pianist who was very talented and after we went to the Pierre Bistro round the corner for lunch. Our usual habit.
Today I've been to Sainsburys and stocked up. Done some ironing and some more washing. It never stops does it. Going to puts some weed and feed on my lawn this afternoon.

We've cut down a lot on newspaper expenditure and only buy the I paper daily and the occasional broadsheet.
Sorry to hear you feel despondent Robinia .Hopefully we'll soon have some warm sunny days and then you'll feel better.The news doesn't help I must admit .Tragedy,politics and Jeremy bldy Clarkson is enough to make anyone feel fed up .

Thanks Shaney. Fancy me doing crosswords and not being able to remember that. I never listen or watch the news in the telly. I just get on the hour on radio now and again.
The plane tragedy is dreadful.
I did t mind Top Gear now and again but only for the lap competition then I switch it off.

Hija here safe and sound, lots of pressies. Have a new Samsung galaxy Grand Neo dual sim mobile phone. Its super! Shes had a hot bath and hairwash as water in dubai is sandy,poor MrN has a bad cold and I have the sniffles. He's gone to bed, hija and I are sitting in lounge playing with phones.

Snap Robi,Damo d cat was playing me up last night then Mr N has a coughing fit I fell asleep at 6 only for cat to prat about again at 6.45!!!

Used to love eating snails, but haven't had any for a couple of years. Hija says the daudi women go swimming in their jihabs, fully flowing gowns, and one was sitting on the beach in full veil and the husband made her go neck deep in the eater because British men were there! Can you believe it? and there was hija next to them in a bikini! Funny old world.

went shopping (cost double thanks to hija!) ate brekkie, then poor Mr N who feels like *** had to go to golf as there is not room for him at home! Hija and I went out for coffee and for mobile phone accessory shopping, then for a walk, my foot was killing me, the pain went all the way to my bum, bluddy gout!
She's out tonight, so we can have a quiet and normal evening.

Doing a lot of her mending and washing, and being a mum again, it's lovely!!

Hi all. Had a great time at the semi final cup match this morning. The red socks won 4-1 and are through to the final which they will be playing in Matlock at their brilliant little football stadium. They even have flood lights. So looking forwards to that.
We got absolutely soaking at the match but it brightened up later on.
When I got home I finished off the bathroom and the door. That is all the painting I'm ever doing again in this house. I have rang my man what decorates and he is coming after Easter to discus my landing stairs and hall. I can't believe I used to do all my painting and papering years ago.
I wish my sons would come and stay with me for a while well let's say a few days. Don't see them very often. I can understand you enjoying Hija being there.
Going to watch a bit of telly now have a good evenin all....
