Usually there are strict over 21 rules for entry to bars in the states.

Please don't risk a licencee losing their licence by lying to get in.

To be honest I don't think it is as strict as other people seem to think. I went there for a week two years ago when i was in my mid twenties (although my friend and I look young) and we never once got asked for ID even though we were out in bars etc every night!

most of the bars and clubs are strict with the rules of age and I know a lot of the clubs will ask for ID if they think you are under 21, but then again some of the bars and clubs but not a lot of them will let people under 21 in but they dont allow you to drink alcohol.
