lazzaroni biscuits.....

i am planning on making delia's chocolate truffle torte for mums day and the recipe calls for amaretti biscuits and doing search amazon.com and thefind.com, lazzaroni keeps popping up. i see that there are a couple of varieties packaged in cardboard boxers with the plastic window...one is

Lazzaroni Amaretti Original

and the other is

Amaretti di Saronno

my questions are

a-is there a difference in the 2 biscuits

b-if there is, what is it??

Amaretti di Sarono is a TYPE of biscuit. (It's an almond-flavoured macaroon). The most biggest-selling BRAND for that type of biscuit is Lazzaroni.
