I went off sausages a long time ago slinky. I dont like the skin on them, I know you can get skinless ones but there isn't much of a range in the skinless ones.
I am not that keen on sausages, and always make a toad in the hole with them, in fact thats what we are having today. I always grill or oven cook them first before adding the batter.
You're probably right red, I haven't found any I've ever liked to be honest, none that have blown me away. I was going to try some off the farmers market, not overly keen on sausages to be honest.
Mmm, I love barbecued sausages. The Hampshire pork variety at Waitrose are wonderful, not so salty as most, and they barbecue up a real treat. I like mine quite charred, OH always give me the ones that are like this. We were having a discussion about our favourite barbied meats this lunchtime, and my No. 1 is definitely sausages.
