Does anything here take your fancy? Lucky you, to be able to go outside to eat.

Help the farmers out take a Badger.
Ron.
coleslaw guacamole sauces
How about a Viking Funeral to finish?

Make a rough boat shape from aluminium foil to hold a sliced banana.

Add brown sugar and a good dose of spirits - rum's good.

Get it bubbling, add a dash more spirits if needed and watch the flames!

Can be quite spectacular in the dark! Cre when eating is recommended.
Chuck, I was bloody joking ( I actually love Badgers & all wild life) I was having a knock at farmers & their hatred of badgers. Has anything been actually proven about cattle being infected with TB directly from Badgers?
Ron.

would you pre-braise your ribs? I found them very tough after just barbecuing.

the banan sounds delish but they said nothing sweet.
The chicken wings sound great too.
kebabs are nice on the barbie.... just stick chunks of chicken (plain or marinated in anything) on sticks with tomato, pepper, onion or whatever you fancy.....

LOL at ron
take a potato salad or a pasta salad and how about some tuna steaks? or sweetcorn?
kebabs of chicken marinated in yogurt and tikka
^^^^ hmmm nice

some lovely suggestios. I was thinking of something fishy.
I could perhaps make kebabs as above, but with tuna cubes?
it's quite a sturdy fish isn't it? Do you think it would fall apart?
perhaps a marinade of lime and chilli?
fish can fall aprt, but if you take the fish kebab route, wrap in foil and pin prick the foil to let heat it, keeps the kebabs together better
i think monkfish is a good meaty fish for the bbq, from memory i think my sister used to make monkfish kebabs.
Question Author
good idea. i could do half size ones as there will be many children.
i remember having a lovely tapas once. There were tiny skewers of salmon marinaded in vodka with orange wedges. They were jiucy and yummy. I wondered how they hadn't fallen off the skewer when cooking and they probably did it your way sallybb!
Question Author
i've found an image of cod and BREAD kebab!
I'd never have thought of cubes of bread on a skewer, but why not?
There isn't a recipe with it, do you think a ciabatta would be good? with garlic and rosemary oil? It would turn out like bruschetta wouldn't it?
Or would it just burn?!
