Tomatoes & herbs

Hi. Other than basil, what herbs go best with tomatoes. I've loads of toms at home and I'm either thinking of turning them into a soup or a sauce - any tips / ideas most welcome. Thanks in advance

Oregano is lovely with tomatoes. I make tomato salad with oregano, salt, pepper and olive oil.

My herb book suggests: basil, marjoram, sage, savory, chervil, thyme.
