that's going to depend very much on whether they are employed and who by, how much they value their services.
Or if they own and run their own resturants its going to depend on the bottom line

It will also depend where the business is located. Prices in London will dictate that higher wages are paid than in, say, Sheffield.

I would have thought the Michellin star was awarded to the restuarant and not the chef... I may be wrong..?

I know a couple of top chefs...one is a guy called Simon Young who was on Masterchef (where the contestants go to his restaurant).

Both are absolutely minted !!!
